Day 20 - December 20 - Austen's 8th Birthday!!

On the morning of the 20th we celebrated Austen's 8th birthday (2 days early).  He came downstairs to find the elves had decorated his chair and written a birthday message in chocolate syrup, similar to Megan's birthday 2 weeks ago.  They were waiting for him with bows on their heads and his elf, Smarty, was in a gift bag with a blue balloon attached.

PS Austen had a nasty tumble while tubing a few days ago and fell face first on the bricks outside.  See results in the pics below (under his nose).
