1 month photos
Now that we have all our 4 kids' 1 month photos and hand- and foot-prints done, here is the result! Note that all 4 are wearing the same sweater and each child has one handprint and one footprint beside their photo, in the white oven baked clay. Fun to compare who they look like at 1 month of age!

Visit to the pumpkin patch
Today, Sunday, we decided to go to the pumpkin patch at Hugli's Blueberry Farm. The weather had said scattered showers so we figured we were ok. Once we got there it was super windy and cold. This cut our visit short a bit, especially because we had Ethan and he did not enjoy the wind (though he was dressed for the cold). Anyhow, here some pics from our visit.
Here we are getting ready to enter the corn maze. The kids loved it as the clues to follow were right at their age level.

The clue for the letter U. Megan looks quite puzzled, doesn't she? (They really shouldn't as they are quite familiar with Opa and Oma's cows. Not sure why she's confused. Austen actually solved this one :) )

Sweet sister Megan helps her little brother try to solve this clue.

Running to try to find the next clue.

Posing at the letter C clue. Yes, I realize that my photos are backwards. Oh well. Check out Austen's "stance".

The outhouse had this funny sign next to it. Here's Mason posing. Kind of funny since he isn't quite toilet trained yet (we're working on it...)

See how cold it was? Doesn't she look miserable? :) This was at the pig races.

On the tractor/trailer on our way to get pumpkins. Kids got to ride up front/high.

Mason was so tired and cold. He hasn't been sleeping well and has a really bad cold. He had a great day though.

Daddy and Mason guarding the pumpkins.

Fall fun
We had some fun outside this weekend (it was gorgeous outside! At least 27 C !) I know, our littlest is missing....he was (finally) having a good nap. I had more photos but can't seem to be able to upload them. I'll add them to the next post. Here are a few now... (In the first few photos the kids are making leaf angels (so, not snow angels, but LEAF angels :) ) and Dakota had to try his hand at this too...so funny!

Turkeys!
So I made turkeys. Lots and lots of turkeys. Megan has around 20 in her class so I made 23 for her class and Austen has about 24 kids in his class so I made 27. Plus one for Mason. So over 50 turkeys. I also made a batch of turkey cupcakes for the staff at Ian's school and then threw in a bunch of pilgrim hats for Ian's class of 21. Megan's class has a student who is allergic to peanuts so I had to make her batch of turkeys peanut-free.
I think they turned out quite cute.
Here are Austen's turkeys (not quite ready yet but getting there) :

Assembly line style :)

I used golden oreos for some...just because...

Megan's version of the turkeys (peanut-free)...assembly line..not quite finished yet.

Kind of a dark picture but here are all 4 different versions. From left to right: the turkey cupcake for the staff (made it up myself with Whoppers, Milk Duds, and Candy corn), then Austen's turkey, Megan's turkey, and finaly the pilgrim hat.

Pilgrim hats are ready to go...the one white one is for a gluten-free student I know quite well (her name starts with "J").

A single finished turkey.

Ian's cupcakes for the staff, all ready to go. I threw in some mini chocolate peanut butter cookies too (I made them earlier this week)...

Austen's turkeys, ready to go...

Megan's turkeys ready to go...

Last I heard, everyone liked them. If you're looking on directions on how to make these, go to my Pinterest account and check my "Recipe" board. You'll find them all there (except for the cupcake one since I just kind of adapted that one from another idea I found). Click here: CINDY'S PINTEREST ACCOUNT
