Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve at Ian's parents' house and church, then Christmas day at our house, and Boxing Day at my parents' house. Lots of fun, excitement, and gifts! Check out the pics:

Merry Christmas!

Today is Cinnamon's last day...he will be joining Santa tonight when he drops off presents and they'll head up to the North Pole together. This morning the kids found him channel surfing on the couch. :)

Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a wonderful new year. I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to blog over the next few days. We're headed to my parents' house for some of the holiday too so I'll see when I get a chance. My most important focus is to spend some good quality time with mt family. So...have a wonderful holiday!

 

Birthday stuff, elf stuff, concert stuff...

Austen is 5! He had a wonderful birthday yesterday!

He got a red balloon (his favourite colour) and a birthday tree.



His room was full of balloons when he woke up...



...and Cinnamon had hung birthday streamers in his doorway.

We went to the school Christmas concert too...Mason and Grandpa are watching Daddy's class perform.



Austen's class did a twist on the 3 little pigs. Austen is 3rd from the left.





Megan's class did a song and a skit. She's the one in the colouful bathrobe. 2nd from left.



Meg's much anticipated debut as stage manager...she had to put the pillows out before their skit...it was a really big deal :)



Megan also did another song with her clas. She's 2nd from the right...right beside her future husband :)



Austen wanted a Golf Cake for his birthday. The "tee" is a bit too fat (I had to make it big to support the golf ball) but the rest turned out good, I think.





Day 25..our elf was outside Austen's door, wishing him a Happy Birthday!





Day 26...this morning he was hiding in Daddy's coat :)

Day 24 and...

Made Austen's classroom treats for his birthday tomorrow.



Denver wants to get in the giftbag, I think :)



Ziplining through the kitchen...if only that was a possibility for all of us...wouldn't that be so fun?!

Day 23

This morning, Cinnamon the elf thought he'd decorate our tree...in underwear! (and diapers :) )





He was found spinning on the ceiling fan...like a midway ride!
