We try to maximize our family time and board games are a perfect way to do this - sharing, taking turns, learning to be a gracious winner and loser (not always easy!).
Usually, Santa brings a new board game or two for Christmas so here's some of our kids' favourites.
(We have most of these games)
I own a much older version of this (inherited from my grandparents) but the kids love playing it too.
We don't own this one but have a much smaller trial version (from a kid's meal from Wendy's) and we love this game.
We'd love to own it someday.
A challenging game the kids love (it stresses me out) and Ian loves it too.
This game gets pulled out almost any time a it's board game time. Definitely a huge favourite.
We are borrowing this old version of Clue Jr. from my sister and the kids adore it.
We often play this game with the whole family on family game nights. Most of the challenges and questions the kids can master and for some we modify them. They love it though and ask to play it often.
A huge favourite of all our kids' and it's great for the 3-4 range too.
Megan just got this game for her birthday but already it's a favourite.
Monopoly. A classic. They love it.
Another favourite for all ages, especially the really young crowd (3-4).
Love love love this one. So funny.
Another great one for the younger crowd especially.
This one is awesome for the littles too. Easy and quick for parents. :)

Great post Cin! Board games are the best!
