I love my mom.
She's thoughtful, empathetic, kind, generous, gracious, faithful...
She checks in everyday if one of us is sick.
She helps out when she can, from 3 hours away.
She's loving, sweet, forgiving, patient, helpful...
She tries so hard to get the most out of every day.
She always remembers
She's all around awesome...
She's got amazing survival skills
Shown over the years
She's so dedicated
to her family
marriage
friends
She's supportive
When I found a lump in my breast last week
and I was worried
She was right there with encouragement
With faith
And checking up on me
Thankfully it is just the beginning of mastitis...
not fun
but better than the alternative...
I wish we lived a bit closer to each other
So we could see each other more
Especially now
Being alone with 2 boys for 9.25 hours per day is no fun
when they have the chicken pox and you can't leave the house
for the week
with a broken-down vehicle
but at least we have the phone
I LIVE for 9:00 each morning
when I call
or she calls
and we get to catch up
just chat
about anything
our love for books
the kids
us
............anything
And that's another reason moving back to C will be awesome
we'll be 30 minutes closer
so we can meet halfway
and see each other
(now that Ethan doesn't scream the ENTIRE time in his car seat)
Thanks for being you, mom
We love you
I love you
and I miss you a lot...
love this :) and I love her and you too :)
ReplyDeletehope the battle of the chicken pox is over soon.
