The Way Home

I love movies about finding faith in God. The best one, so far, that I've seen is "Fireproof". If you ever get a chance to see it, watch the special features also. It's amazing how that movie came together with all the volunteers.

I've now found another movie called "The Way Home" and it's also excellent. It's actually a true story and for anyone with kids, it's our worst nightmare. A husband and wife are at odds and while they're packing up for their vacation (arguing), their 2 year old goes missing from their driveway. Since it's a true story, the special features include the real couple so it's really great to see their perspective on it. The movie is filmed on location, meaning, that it's filmed where the family lived when the boy went missing. It's amazing how the town rallies together and how the husband, played by Dean Cain (!!!), finds God. I highly recommend it. A few others I've seen that I've enjoyed, Christian movies that is, are:

"Facing the Giants" (reallllly great movie as well, same producers as "Fireproof")

"Flywheel"

"Faith like Potatoes"

"Letters to God"

and ofcourse, "Fireproof".

This is "The Way Home" movie:
