We've been working letter "I" for Iguana and Inchworm...of course we couldn't forget "Ice cream" and here is Austen playing an ice cream game we made up... he loved it!
Ian's been "busy" growing a little something...yep, he's joined the "Movember Movement" and contributed his own mustache to a contest held by the staff at his school...found out today he won!
We went to the Santa Claus Parade at evening time...it was awesome again. Kids loved it too. Mason hardly said a word the first 45 minutes. Great!
My absolute favourite: the bagpipes!!
And some of the Christmas floats...
Santa himself...
We also had to book an evening to get our picture taken for the church directory...here are the kids fooling around. Austen, of course, wouldn't smile for any of the pictures while Mason was his regular goofy self. (Although in THIS photo, taken by yours truly, he, of course, smiles, cause the pressure was off :) )
I made a Christmas Advent Calendar for the kids. Each day they open a little door. Things like "write a letter to Santa today" or "go get your Christmas tree" or "tell mommy and daddy one thing you're thankful for" or "go sledding and drink hot chocolate afterwards" are written on pieces of paper behind the "doors".
And our biggest news! We might be moving. To this house. Five (!) bedrooms, 3 (!) bathrooms, and 3 acres. Holy cow!
