So, while it did this outside ALL DAY,
(RAIN RAIN RAIN)
we had a lot of fun inside.
* * *
Beforehand, I had asked all the kids to dress in a specific colour.
Megan was pink.
Austen was yellow.
Mason was orange.
JS was red.
JH was blue.
B was green.
R was purple.
Then, they were turned into crayons. I made them a crayon pointy hat, they had black cuffs, and the word "CRAYON" on their fronts. Their colours were on their backs. Here's the result:
Megan as a pink crayon.
All the kids as crayons.

Purplicious and Pinkalicious

We also made rainbow wind catchers. First they painted the rainbows and had to let them dry.

(yes, Mason fell asleep - he's having a hard time adjusting to 1 nap a day.)

We also had an ongoing contest on all day:

At Quiet Time, I read this book, a very cute crayon book:
And we made a human rainbow:

We also made these...

The rest of the day, the kids LOVED playing with the farm table I made for Megan and Austen. It's huge. And the kids absolutely loved playing with it and played with it all day - REALLY! Such great amusement!

And that was our day! It was wonderful!
