Fresh veggies!

Almost every morning the kids grab their sand pails from the sandbox and head down to the vegetable garden. They all love to check to see if there are more beans, peas, tomatoes, or cucumbers.
Austen wants to check on the carrots every day. The other day we pulled 2 carrots and though they were small, they were ready. He carried them proudly for the rest of the morning.
It's so cute to see the kids check on the vegetables and help us pick them. Great learning opportunities!

Not too many cherry tomatoes today...but enough for us!


I've been searching for a great green bean recipe, perfect for (young) kids. Anyone know of one?
