DAY 4 of 5 - KCDC WINTER OLYMPICS 2010

NOTE: I wanted to post that I do not publish any of the kids' photos (the kids who come to my daycare) unless their parents have given me specific permission that I can.

Today was a great Olympic day even though I had to revamp a bit due to the large amounts of snow. The little ones (L2 and Mason) didn't compete outside today because the snow was blowing into their little faces and they shuddered every time I turned the sleds. Austria (Ian) took little Japan and little Switzerland inside and they were MUCH happier. I find myself quite tired now that we are on day 4 of this wonderful Olympic journey and I'm losing a bit of energy due to lack of sleep (dealing with a 10 month old's wakings at night due to a stuffy nose/not being able to breathe is not condusive to me resting up for the Olympics). Therefore, I will post today's results and leave it at that for today.

INDOOR EVENTS (A.M.)

Inukshuk Building

More inukshuk building today (out of any playroom toys)...Germany and Korea did theirs today and this is the result:

Germany built hers out of lego blocks.

Korea built his out of wooden blocks.

After the Inukshuk building we had an Inukshuk art contest. Now, I usually don't like art contests and judging them to see which is the best (when it comes to me judging all the kids' work) but I think all of their work receives GOLD so therefore, all the kids get GOLD for their Inukshuk pictures.

After the "art contest" we played a "hide and seek" game with "IAN THE INUKSHUK". Ian the Inukshuk has become our mascot now and he goes where we go. Here is a photo of Ian the Inukshuk.
