Christmas Eve...pjs, slippers, and a stuffie from mom and dad. The boys got Mickey Mouse Superman pjs and Meg got penguin ones. Ethan named his owl "Funky Monkey" (don't ask), Megan got a puppy, Austen a Nemo fish, and Mason a walrus. Austen and Mason got TMNT slippers, Ethan Thomas slippers, and Megan purple ones.
The kids participated in their school's Christmas concerts...
Megan's class did a cultural Christmas play with Megan saying "Prettige Kerstdagen". Megan wore wooden shoes and an orange Netherlands shirt. She's the second on the right.
Austen did a play and he got to wear his pjs to school 3 times that week! Once for the dress rehearsal, once for the actual concert, and once on Friday when the rest of the school wore them too as a theme day. He's the one in the blue pjs with the elf hat.
Mason's class (he's in a SK/gr.1 split) did a story where they each recited a line or 2. Once the story was done, he looked at me and winked! I didn't know he knew how!! Soooo adorable!!
Our church did a Christmas play as well which involved the Sunday School. Here's Austen as a shepherd.
The kids each got new crocheted hats from us for Christmas. Mason got a Pickachu hat (from Pokemon)
Austen too.
Ethan got an adorable snowman hat. I have a photo of Megan too but I can't find it.
Uncle Adam and Daddy helped the 4 kids build a snowman family. Can you tell which snowman depicts which family member?
More of the church Christmas play. Ian had a part as a physiotherapist. He was great!
Oma came to watch the dress rehearsal. Megan was a student in the play and Grandma was her teacher. Again, I have photos of all the rest but they'll be in the next post.
The shepherds practising their parts. Mason had a staff but everyone soon figured out he would do better with a stuffed lamb when Mson was using the staff as a gun during the dress rehearsal.
More soon!
