(Watching Barbie:A Pony Tale with a sick girlie and the little monkey is napping so I wanted to do a quick blog post and catch up).
I made my mom a Mother's Day cupcake bouquet. It looked great before the 3 hour drive without a working A/C in the van. Afterwards, not so much. It was quite a disaster. Oh well, at least we have the before picture.
(Can you tell I found a cool picture collage app? Just playing around with my pictures :).)
Below are some of the wonderful gifts I was given by the kids. Ian and I traditionally create a gift with the kids instead of buying a store bought gift.
Below is Austen's handprint/poem (so cute!), his "chore" bouquet (can't wait to redeem some of those!), and Mason's multi-purpose pencil/pen holder (very cute and useful). Megan's coupons are below and I also can't wait to redeem some of those ("without whining and complaining"!).
Ian helped the kids make these cute mugs and the beautiful canvas below it ith the balloons and kids. Isn't it awesome? The 2 cards are from my Meg :).
We took some fun pics and framed these for Oma.
The daycare kids took some pics for their mom.
I had a great Mother's Day - hope yours was great too! So thankful to have the best job in the world!
