We popped a balloon every hour, on the hour, until "fake" new year.
In each balloon was a treat (coins or Smarties) and a fun activity to do.
For one activity we played with play dough and made a sculpture.
Austen's snowman.
Ethan's snowman (or "Aus-man", as Ethan likes to call it)
Megan's robin.
Mason's snowman.
For another activity we had popcorn. We also had hot chocolate for another one.
We played a few board games throughout the day. Here we played Carcassonne (a game my sister gave Ian for Christmas...so fun!!)
We also decorated cookies.
We dressed up in our favourite costumes.
The hungry caterpillar.
Fireman.
Sofia the first.
Froggy.
We had an awesome day with an early New Years celebration which produced very well rested kids the next day...yay for sleep!
Wishing everyone a very happy new year!!!
