Happy 9th Birthday, Meg!

Our Megan turned 9 today.  We celebrated yesterday and had family over.  We went out for dinner at Meg's request.  I think she had a wonderful day.
I keep telling her not to grow anymore and I tell her no more birthdays because I just want to freeze time but she just smiles and shakes her head at her silly mom.  Still, she's my first born and only daughter and like any mom, you just want to slow time down.  Freeze it.
She's responsible, super smart, gentle, loving, kind, and determined.  I just know this year is going to bring so many changes and good things for her.  We are blessed to have her as part of our family.
 We love you, Megs!

  1. You know I have a nine year old to and it is so bittersweet.... Our girls are becoming such wonderful people but let's try to figure out how to stop time. Let me know if you find a way!
