Day 6...St. Nicholas comes!

The kids put their shoes by the fireplace for St.Nicholas (Sinterklaas).  

The next morning they were surprised as they had a visit from the black peters too!

They left candy all over the floor!

Ethan didn't know quite what to make of candy all over the floor WITHIN REACH!

The elves were each doing their own thing too.

Mason's elf, PJ Sherwood, was milking a cow.  Check out the real milk in the pail!

Austen's elf, Smarty, was fishing in the fishing boat.

Megan's elf, Snowflake, was doing her homework.

She also left Megan a little birthday message in the agenda.

Ethan's elf, Cinnamon, was riding a horse by the stable.

Funny how each of the elves did something specific to our kids' activities and interests.
