Austen really loves anything to do with fish (except eating them) and really wished for a boat bed.
Well, after Mason's success with the tractor bed, I set about making him a boat bed.
We found an image on Google which he loved and adapted the bed from there.
The only thing missing is that I was going to make a plain red flag with a bamboo post but he really likes the Canada flag instead. Also, the "donut" or "invalid/handicapped blow up ring thingie" is supposed to be a buoy or lifesaving ring which I want covered with a white circle with red stripes. So, I still have to sew that.
The front and back "treasure chests" open for extra (secret) storage.

He loves it, and, best of all, Ian and I don't hear a huge thump at night from him falling out of bed anymore!
