With 4 kids, a laundry and clothes system is ideal.
And if nothing else, I like organization.
I love me an organizational system. LOL
At our new house, we have a HUGE walk-in closet. It's off the master bedroom and even if Ian and I were to use it for only our clothes, we only would fill about 1/4 of it. Therefore, I thought...what better way to combine all our closets in there!
That way, I do the laundry, bring it into this room, and put it away right away. There's room for Ethan to play on the floor while I fold and put clothes away.
I can stick laundry baskets in there...completely out of the way...and close the door on it.
Wonderful!
I thought I'd share this wonderful room with you - one of my favourite rooms in this house!
1...the "pj/clothes for the next day" shelf...after baths and showers the kids get their pjs from here and dress in the "closet"
2...a view of the walk-in closet...a changetable for Ethan in the corner with all the diapers and pullups...each kid has their own 2 sets of dressers...for socks, underwear, shirts, shorts, pants, skirts...all sorted...
3...the pj drawers...colour coordinated!
4...Ian and my clothes
5...another view of the closet....dresses and buttondown shirts are hung up...
Oh, and of course all drawers are labeled! I love my labeler (a gift from Ian from awhile ago).

Isn't it funny how the most domestic things make us excited? I would be ecstatic with a closet like that - might even make laundry time a little more fun.
