From ME to WE

Our church is offering a parenting course/seminar/workshop that's called "From ME to WE". Ian and I missed the first session (we didn't realize it had started already) but attended last week. It was sooo nice to sit down with other parents and our pastors to talk about all aspects of parenting. (Our topic this week was "communication").

It is offered before our church starts, on Sundays, for about an hour before the service.

We dropped the kids at Grandma and Grandpa's house and Ian and I swung past Tim Hortons on our way. It was such a nice change of pace. We are always going, going, going, and we're never taking enough time for us or ourselves. This course gives us a chance to be together without the kids, even though we ARE talking about the kids, and talking to other parents.

We were very excited about it and hope to keep going. It's 6 sessions in all but we'll cover them over about 8 or 9 Sundays. If you want to check it out, click on "Parenting Families: From ME to WE".
