We celebrated my birthday last Thursday - 32 now, wow! I tried to make some rainbow cupcakes for the daycare kids (we always celebrate birthdays with the daycare kids). They turned out pretty cool! Time consuming though!
The kids (Austen, Rachel, and Mason) wanted me to take a picture of them in Grandpa's trailer. They said they were in jail. Very cute, although Mason had no idea why they were screaming.
My mom and in-laws came this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. My mom and dad got me a region-free DVD player - sooo exciting! Now I can watch all those shows I grew up with (from Holland!) like "Zeg 's aaa", "Swiebertje", and "De Film van Ome Willem"!!! First I plan to buy Mr. Maker DVDs from England for the kids, since they absolutely LOVE his show. Here's Mason unwrapping my present...natural talent found in kids, isn't it?
Our toilet was leaking and very old so ON MY BIRTHDAY, I got a new toilet! Very happy with it! :) My father-in-law is installing it here.
Mason has seen his bigger brother and sister brush his teeth so often that he thought he'd have a try at it. He's using Austen's electric toothbrush. After about a half an hour of brushing (seriously!) he had to sit down. I guess he was worn out. LOL
