Today the daycare kids, my own kids, and I played with play snow. We brought the outside in. Out came the play dough toys and boy, did they have fun! They spent a good 45 minutes playing with the white stuff. Scooping, cutting, measuring, pounding... J made meatballs, R made ice cream, Megan made play dough recipes, and Austen....well....I'm not sure.... He sure had fun because when I checked, the floor was soaked, his shirt was soaked, and his socks were sopping wet. He wore his mittens because "my 't'ands are so so so cold, mommy!". It was a lot of fun and I recommend this simple but different activity to anyone! (plus the cleanup is much better than playdough - you know what a mess that is to clean!)
