School photos

I always look forward to the school photos.  They're the ones that hang up above the fireplace for the entire year until next September rolls around and they get covered by the newer ones again.
In particular, the Kindergarten ones are always really special too because they're the ones that, at their eighth grade graduation, both get displayed on the slideshow...their Kindergarten photo and their grade 8 one...you know, to show the kids how they've changed.
Today the proofs came home and they depict our oldest three children perfectly when asked to take their photo.

Megan has super sensitive eyes to bright lights and always despises the flash on the camera.  Her picture perfectly shows that she's trying to keep her eyes open bit is anticipating that flash...especially in the two lower shots.

Now, Austen.  He is not often around when the camera comes out.  He's much too busy to stand still and pose for a shot.  Here, you can see he is patiently tolerating the photographer taking his shot but his smile says HURRY UP!  Either that or he's a bit constipated.

And them there's the one whose smile will follow him all the way to grade eight graduation.  Our ham.
Our Mason.  Gotta love him.
