3 year old photography and safety first.

What is the result if your 3 year old asks for the camera and you let him?
(After ensuring the wrist strap is indeed on his wrist in case he drops it)

See here.

By Mason, age 3.

A shot of my baby brother...he wants a turn too but I don't let him. I do, however, tease him by saying "look what I have...."

A picture of a part of the tool bench...indeed...very interesting photography lighting skills...ahum...

This is a plate.

It was the best picture out of a collection of about 10 other "plate" pictures...

These are my feet.

This is how I walk in them.

Take picture.

Get mad because the picture doesn't show me walking.

Hey, I can take a picture of myself too!

The floor.

Interesting pattern.

Daddy's chair.

Good to have for insurance purposes.

You just never know...

The previous owners put this up.

It won't come off.

I've tried.

A lot.

My chainsaw.

My perspective ...

I shall call this "my view of the kitchen".

End scene.

So now you know what Third has been up to...

Let's go to the baby.

He'll be 17 months in 2 days.

He's taalking, walking, and yes, climbing.

He constantly climbs the kitchen chairs.

If we had cushions or mattresses strewn about our house we wouldn't care so much.

But we do.

We want to preserve his brains for a while yet.

So...after a couple falls onto the hard tile (cause you can never get there fast enough it seems) we've resorted to plan B.

See here Plan B in action.

Safety First.

I am now frustrated because my head is too heavy to climb the darn chairs!

I try and I try and I try!

I give up.

But I'm still mad.

So I follow Dad around the house in hopes he'll take pity on me and take the blasted thing off.

:)

End scene.

Oh, and here's Mason's centerpiece for the kitchen table.
