Remember our Elf on the Shelf, Cinnamon? From Christmas?
Well, BB is the same thing but then for Easter.
What I did was this....I bought a cheap stuffed Easter bunny. He hides in a different spot each morning. He also hides 1 plastic egg for each child with a small tiny treat inside. Like a marshmalow, a Smartie, or something like that. So, just like Cinnamon, for Elf on the Shelf, but not quite as intensive. It's been a lot of fun and the kids love it. They are able to touch BB too, he's not "untouchable" like Cinnamon was. He arrived on the first day of Spring break and he'll leave with the Easter bunny on Easter Sunday morning. He doesn't do naughty things, like Cinnamon did, he just hides. Doesn't write letters or anything either...he's a bunny! Bunnies don't write :) This makes it very easy and simple to just hide BB and the 4 eggs...that's it! And they've had fun with it!
We named him Blue Bunny, but I kind of wanted to name him KinSu (because he's the blue bunny that comes with the Kinder Surprise). Here he is:
On the couch...
Megan's "Daily 5 News" in school...
Mason loves Blue Bunny...
Austen too...
And Megan...
Hiding...
Playing with him...
More playing...
Giving him a shot at the doctor's...
On a magic carpet ride...
Really fast!
We started off with a fun Easter breakfast to introduce Blue Bunny...complete with Easter "soup" and eggs to paint!
