A bird, a circle, and another bird...

So, my 3 1/2 year old wrote his first word today! I'm so proud! (I know, I'm bragging, but I can't help it!) He was actually really proud of himself and beaming everytime he handed me another strip of paper with his new word written on it.

Thing is, he's been drawing birds on his pictures lately. You know, the little M birds that fly in the sky. And since he knows how to draw shapes, I told him that a bird, a circle, and another bird make the word "Mom". He absolutely loved this. He was beaming...
